Welcome to Wagging Trails — a calm, home-from-home day care and boarding service for friendly dogs, based just east of Norwich in Little Plumstead.

Hi, I’m Sam — a lifelong dog lover, joined by my partner Craig and our two Cavaliers, Bramble and Jasper. Together, we’ve created Wagging Trails: a peaceful, nurturing space where small groups of dogs can settle in, feel safe, and truly become part of the family.

 

Here, your dog is treated like one of our own.

🐶 What We Offer

 

We provide small-group day care and home boarding focused on gentle routines, daily enrichment, and thoughtful, individualised care.

Licensed to care for a maximum of four guest dogs at a time, we intentionally keep things small — creating a familiar, relaxed environment where every dog gets close attention, builds genuine bonds, and becomes part of a steady, well-matched group alongside our own two gentle Cavaliers.

We offer regular weekly care only, as dogs thrive on consistency and connection. A steady routine helps them feel secure, reduces stress, and builds trust within the group. Every dog begins with a relaxed, trial-style settling-in period to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone involved.

✔️ Twice-daily visits to a secure, private dog park
✔️ A warm, cosy home with sofas, snuggles, and a secure garden
✔️ A carefully balanced group of sociable, easy-going dogs
✔️ Flexible hours: drop-off between 7–9am, pick-up between 4–6pm (occasional late collections by prior request)
✔️ Fully licensed, insured, and trained in canine behaviour and first aid

 

Whether your dog is a confident regular or just beginning their day care journey, we’ll always meet them with calm, patient care tailored to their individual needs.

We welcome toilet-trained puppies from 16+ weeks who are friendly, gentle, and ready to grow within our calm, consistent weekly group.
